If you haven’t yet heard of Piol, it’s a website that allows you to customize a dress from start to finish. You find your color aura, choose a silhouette and customize all the details (like neckline, sleeves and length) to your liking. It then takes you to the ‘fitting room’ and walks through taking all your measurements to ensure the dress is made to fit you perfectly. I first had the chance to work with Piol last year (seen here) and loved the process and results so much so when they reached out again to have me design something for spring, I jumped at the chance! This time I went with a simple shift dress with added sleeves and a short hem (my favorite silhouette) and picked the palest blush pink hue in my color aura. I love that a shift dress is timeless yet fits so well with the season’s trends. It’s a beyond cool feeling, slipping on a dress that was made just for you! I highly recommend trying it out and designing a dress you can wear so many places be it work, weddings or dates — everyone will love the experience.

Stowaway Cosmetics is a new brand that sells makeup in smaller sizes so you’ll use them up before the products expire. The Stowaway Kit lets you try all six products from the first collection and comes in a little makeup bag that’s perfect for taking on the go. Really I fell in love with the packaging at first sight, sleek packaging always piques my interest!

My favorite product of all is the mascara. I’ve worn it every day from the first day I tried this makeup because it’s life changing! I rarely believe a product that says it does it all but this one actually does — length, volume, curl, and it never clumps. The BB cream and concealer are very light and comfortable on the skin, they will be my go-to base during the summer. I got the brown eyeliner which is my favorite color for everyday wear, it’s a soft pencil that goes on really smoothly. The scarlet lipstick (seen here) is a great orangey red, sometimes I even mix it with the rouge in peony for a really bright, bold shade. Otherwise I like to really blend in the cheek & lip rouge for just a pretty hint of color.

The products are so convenient for taking in your handbag or if you like a really minimal makeup look for everyday. Plus it feels better knowing none will go to waste — I don’t think I’ve ever finished a lipstick so these are a perfectly practical size. I can’t wait to see what they drum up next and I’d love to hear what you’d think if you’ve tried the brand!

It’s amazing how one piece can completely change an entire outfit. Granted, this faux fur coat doesn’t get a ton of wear but it’s still one of my favorite sale finds. I dressed it down recently with my current favorite white tee and ripped skinny jeans. I’m so impressed with the fit, feel and cost of this Everlane tee that I want to purchase another! I aim to have a good balance of wear-anywhere pieces and statement styles. Speaking of the latter, I found a few similar white faux fur coats still available for you to shop below!
