Getting enough sleep is so important for our overall health, including skin. Still, I get into the bad habit of staying up too late and waking up too early to get the recommended eight hours. My remedy? A few products to boost my beauty sleep so my dry, sensitive skin doesn’t show it — now I’m one step closer to proudly saying “I woke up like this.”
After cleansing and toning, I pat the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate on damp skin. It’s a pretty lightweight oil that sinks in quickly and you’ll notice a difference from the first night using it. I lock that in with one of several moisturizers, depending on what my skin needs. About once a week if I want something more heavy-duty or am battling any spots, Kate Somerville RetAsphere Night Cream works so quickly to smooth and brighten. When my skin is simply parched, I slather on Origins’ Drink Up Overnight Mask because it replenishes moisture plus builds up a reserve for the next day.
